The International Mobility with disabilities project aims to inform young people with disabilities about the opportunities they have to go on an international mobility trip and how they can receive support from local associations, host organisations and youth information centres.
In order to achieve this objective, several studies were carried out as part of this project, including one on the barriers and needs of young people with disabilities.
This study is based on disability figures from 3 countries: France, Ireland and Austria and is a report on the different barriers that can prevent young people from going abroad. This study, which mobilised young people from several countries, also sheds light on the benefits that international mobility can bring to people who are usually far from mobility.
